The RAF Reapers is pretty incredible, this long endurance Remotely Piloted Air System (RPAS) has a maximum altitude of 50,000ft and maximum speed of 250kts; and now it looks like the UK Ministry of Defence is planning to field a follow-on batch starting delivery in 2012. However, historically, the Reapers were controlled at US Air Force in Nevada, and that the UK have announced in May that the Reapers will be controlled from the UK. I wonder if the new batch will come under the UK control as well.
